Picture of NURSEALERT NurseAlert is an emergency alert system designed for use in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. This system plugs into an existing nurse call system. It includes a wireless transmitter worn by the resident. If a fall occurs, the resident presses the wireless transmitter to activate the nurse call system. An audible tone assures the resident that the system is summoning help. This system allows a resident to call for help even when they are out of bed and at a distance from the nurse call button. The transmitter is waterproof and no larger than a postage stamp. POWER: Uses a lithium battery that lasts up to 10 years. WEIGHT: Transmitter weighs less than a half ounce.
