Picture of JUMBO KEY AMPLIFIED TELEPHONE WITH 600 TIMES AMPLIFICATION (MODEL HD60) The Jumbo Key Amplified Telephone with 600 Times Amplification, model HD60, is an amplified hearing aid-compatible telephone with visual ring indicator, designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The phone amplifies incoming sound to over 55 decibels (dB), making sound up to 600 times louder. Selectable Digital Tone Setting allows the user to boost and enhance the speech frequencies the user cannot hear well, improving the intelligibility of difficult to hear words. Digital sound processing removes distortion, echo effects and unwanted static. An off-hook alert provides audible and visual warnings to alert the user of improper hang-up, preventing accidental blocking of incoming calls. The phone has a large and brightly backlit keypad; 12 one-touch programmable memory buttons; visual ring flashers on the front and side; a 95 dB ringer with adjustable ringing volume and tone controls; jack for neck-loop, tele-coil and other assistive accessories; and a hearing aid compatible handset. POWER: Uses power from telephone line with battery backup (batteries not included). WARRANTY: One year warranty.
