(Verified 10/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Clarity Cordless Phone, model W-400, is a cordless amplifier telephone designed for use by people who are hard of hearing. This phone quality sound up to 115 decibels (DB), 30 decibels above standard phones. This phone also uses 900 MegaHertz (mHz) and automatically selects the clearest of 40 available channels. Other features include an easy-to-read keypad in the handset, redial, mute, a flash button, tone/pulse selection, call waiting capability, and 10 memory locations. POWER: The rechargeable battery offers 4.5 hours of talk time and fully recharges in 10 to 14 hours. DIMENSIONS (HxWxD): The handset is 7.5 x 2.25 x 1.5 inches. The base is 8.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches.
