Next Product »----CUSTOM ADAPTATION ---- PURPOSE: To provide a child with cerebral palsey with a stable interface to control a computer. A commercially available joystick and large button is used in place of a mouse and keyboard to control a computer. A metal plate and screwed stud is attached to the bottom of the base of the joystick. A hole is drilled in the child's desk, and the stud is screwed into a second plate on the underside of the desk. A nut holds the assembly in place while the joystick is in use. The button is anchored to the desk using Velcro strips glued to the desk and the button. TITLE: Nicky's Joystick. JOURNAL: TAD Journal.
