Multimedia Max is a voice activated personal computer designed to control telecommunications, electrical, and infrared devices for individuals with physical disabilities. This multimedia computer can be controlled by mouse, keyboard, or touchscreen, and incorporates the following features: control of over 256 different lights and electrical appliances; control of 99 different infrared (audio and video) equipment; control of Heating and Air Conditioning Systems; scheduling events in advance or executed real time; complete hands free control of speakerphone, answering machine, fax, and modem; access to CD-ROM applications, online services and the internet; and speech-to-text dictation in any Microsoft Windows word processor. Included in the system is a 2.53 GHz (or faster) computer with an 80 Gig hard drive and 2 GB RAM; 19-inch flat panel monitor; CD-RW/DVD combination drive; 10/100 PCI Ethernet card; USRobotics 56K telephony modem / fax machine; hands free speakerphone/answering machine; Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Edition, version 10; NaturallySpeaking compatible sound board with speakers; Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Vista; AVG Anti-Virus or equivalent; Ad-Aware SE spyware removal software; environmental control hardware and software; uninteruptible power supply and surge protector; remote chime and up to six modules for lights and appliances; infrared controls for one room; custom design and installation with four days on-site training; Max Link communication software and 1 year Internet support. OPTIONS: Wireless lapel microphone with wheelchair battery adapter; hospital bed control; Max View with infrared control of second room; all in one printer copier scanner fax machine; system controlled thermostat; wireless remote security camera. WARRANTY: One year on site warranty parts and labor; 2 years additional on-site warranty is available, for a total of 3 years.
