The Learning Activity Packets are also known as the Math & English Module and were written to provide the student or employee with an opportunity to explore and learn about the basic academic skills related to a job or vocational interest. They cover a variety of academic skills including reading; math; vocabulary; and some science and chemistry. They assist in the identification of academic competencies related to an occupational area and all exercises are written with low vocabulary requirements so that users with little or no knowledge of the career area can successfully complete each exercise. Career areas include: Automotive, Building Maintenance, Business and Office, Computers, Construction, Cosmetology, Custodal housekeeping, Distribution, Electronics, Food Service, Graphic Design, Health Care, Horticulture, Manufacturing, and Small Engines. COMPATIBILITY: Apple II and IBM and compatibles. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple II; 5.25 or 3.5 inch disks; monitor (color optional); one disk drive; printer optional. IBM and compatibles; 256K; 5.25 or 3.5 inch disks; monitor (color optional); one disk drive; printer optional. OPTIONS: Programs are sold as a package as indicated by the price, or by individual career areas for $79.95 a piece.
