--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/2000) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Interaction Games is a modified game program written for two switch users to play at the same time for individuals with a physical disability. The game set consists of nine games designed to teach cognitive, early academic and switch operation skills. Reading skills are not required to operate the games; verbal directions and auditory feedback are given. While playing the games, the visual-motor skills of press-release, waiting to take a turn, and hitting the switch within a certain time limit are practiced. Games incorporate a moving cursor to provide experience with scanning in vertical, horizontal, and row/column format. GAMES: Zig Zag, Race, Bully, Tic-Tac-Toe, Beetle Star Galactica, Phaser Scan, Maze, Scancentration, and Filler Thriller. The most complex game is Scancentration, a scanning version of Concentration. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II+, IIe, IIc/c+, and IIGS computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 5.25-inch disk drive, 64K memory, an ECHO speech synthesizer (see separate entry), 2 switches, and a switch interface for the computer.

Notes: Interaction Games by R.J. Cooper and Rob Koch, OTR. ** See also Interaction Games II. ** ECHO is a trademark of ECHO Speech Corporation.
