All About Ourselves is a language tutorial program designed for use by children with learning and reading disabilities. Young readers and pre-readers use simple drag-and-drop activities to create Venn diagrams, pictograms of eye colors and birthday months, and jigsaw puzzles of body parts. Sequencing, sorting, and labeling activities incorporate topics such as growing up and eating well. Early readers explore the senses and express their thoughts and preferences with the aid of word banks. Full speech support, talking stories, and slide shows make the program accessible to non-readers. Other activities include using the X-ray machine, making faces, and designing printable greeting cards in the scrapbook. COMPATIBILITY: The CD-ROM includes versions for IBM and compatible and Macintosh computers with or without a network. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The IBM and compatible version required a 486DX2 66 megaHertz (mHz) processor, Windows 3.1 or higher, 8 megabytes (MB) RAM, 30 MB hard drive space, a 2X CD-ROM drive, sound card, and 640 x 480 256-color monitor. The Macintosh version requires Operating System 7, 68020 processor, 4 MB RAM, 2X CD-ROM drive, and 640 x 480 256-color monitor.
