Picture of STICKYBEAR SHAPES DELUXE Stickybear Shapes Deluxe is an academic and perceptual tutorial program designed to teach the concept of shapes to children from pre-kindergarten through second grade who have developmental or learning disabilities. This software focuses on shape identification and the names of shapes such as triangle, square and rectangle in four different activities. The Find It activity challenges children to find and name shapes within pictures and the Draw It activity is intended to encourage children’s creative expression by producing their own shape pictures. The program also reinforces shape recall and helps children develop skills relating to code-breaking, mathematics, language, and problem solving. The school versions and above also come with freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters. Available languages are English and Spanish. COMPATIBILITY: Windows or Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For hybrid direct drive: Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7, CD ROM drive and from 150 to 260 megabytes (MB) of free space on the hard drive; Mac OS X v.10.4 or above, PowerPC or Intel processor, CD ROM drive, and 150 to 260 MB of free space on the hard drive. For stand alone CD: Windows 2000, XP or Vista, CD ROM drive, 32 MB of RAM; Mac OS 9, PowerPC, System 9x, CD ROM drive, and 32 MB of RAM.
