Maximania is a problem and academic tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive disabilities. The six-chapter story of Max, Goober, Magpie, Selma, and the Flying Boot offers graphics, animation, and music to enliven puzzles, games, and problem-solving activities. Characters often speak in rhyme and each chapter contains matching, sorting, sequencing, and comprehension activities that help students develop essential literacy and thinking skills. Teachers and students have the option of selecting specific characters and games and teachers can track student progress in the profile section.
