(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Occupations is a pre-reading tutorial program designed to teach children ages 3 years and up with cognitive or severe physical disabilities classification and cause and effect. The program offers two levels of play for one to four users: Level I allows the child to select any of six community helpers (fireman, police officer, teacher, gas station attendant, doctor or dentist) depicted on the PowerPad (see separate entry) or IntelliKeys overlay, and Level II asks the child to match the community helper with the appropriate scene. The complete set includes the program disk and an overlay. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple and Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple computers require a color monitor, an Echo Speech Synthesizer, and PowerPad or IntelliKeys; Macintosh computers require a color monitor, Echo LC, 2E Emulator card, LC softcard, and IntelliKeys. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the purchase date.
