The What Time is It? Language Kit Pllus, model LK-T, is a time skills and language tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive or communication disabilities. This program introduces concepts of time (clock, hour, minute) and times of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night), and builds the child's understanding of time by talking about common activities that occur during each time period. Extension activities include matching analog and digital clocks, with time to the hour and half-hour. The kit includes a book written with limited vocabulary, repetitive lines, and Mayer-Johnson Picture Communication Symbols; an interactive computer book that combines text, pictures, speech and sound; a songboard, word cards, and vocabulary games; and reproducible writing worksheets.
