Picture of BLOB CD FOR WINDOWS Blob CD for Windows is a cause and effect training program designed use by children with learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. This program teaches the use of a switch or touchscreen and is a first introduction to computers and switches that features bright, clear graphics, animation, and sound to help switch users to develop their switching and cognitive skills. It can be operated with one or two switches or with a joystick, fire buttons, concept keyboard, or micromike. The program includes simple activities and games with characters called Blob and Spikey: Big Blob, Who is there? Spikey, Where is Spikey? Look who is here, and Going home. The games in this program introduce fundamental cognitive skills, such as selection procedures and making decisions and choices, in a way that will interest and motivate the child.
