(Verified 4/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- ScreenDoors II is an on screen keyboard and word prediction program designed for use by individuals with quadriplegia and upper extremity disabilities. The program offers a resizable keyboard that floats above other applications. The keyboard can be used with the high contrast settings of Windows95 and Windows NT and affords custom layouts and setups. Colors, fonts, and layouts can be changed depending on the needs of the user. The program also offers word prediction, next word prediction, abbreviation expansion, and on the fly learning. Other features include hotkeys, international language capability, auto spacing and capitalization, horizontal or vertical word list orientation, and more. Keyboard layout options include system, international, alphabetic, and frequency. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh or IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For use with Macintosh computers, Mac OS, Macintosh 68020 or later computer, System 7.1 or later, and a minimum of 4 megabytes (MB) RAM (8 MB recommended) are required. For IBM and compatible computers, Windows 3.x and a 386/4 or higher processor or Windows95/NT and a 486/33 or higher processor are required. Both Windows operating systems require a minimum of 8 MB RAM.
