(Verified 9/1999) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The SWORD is a word processing and abbreviation expansion program designed to reduce significantly the number of keystrokes necessary to type text by allowing the user to type single letters or abbreviated words. The program tracks the user's word frequency and, after a couple of letters, flashes the choices on the screen for one-stroke selection. The program offers 200 easy short forms that are never more than two characters plus a delimiter. A manual and tutorial are included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Mac INIT/CDEV installed in system folder 512KE and up uses 33K Random Access Memory (RAM); MS-DOS in the autoexec.bat of any system uses 30K RAM.
