--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- QuickWord is an abbreviation expansion program for the Apple Macintosh computer. QuickWord allows the user to create custom abbreviations for frequently-used words, phrases, or formulas. Abbreviations are expanded automatically as they are typed on the keyboard. Expansion tables may be edited while the user is working in another program. Multiple expansion tables may be created and used from within any application. All expansion tables may be saved to and loaded from a different disk drive than the working one. QuickWord comes with its own built-in text editor for maintaining abbreviation tables. All standard Macintosh OPTION, SHIFT-OPTION, and COMMAND character keys may be incorporated into QuickWord abbreviations. Abbreviations can be no longer than 8 characters. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple Macintosh computers.
