--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 04/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The IntelaVoice Voice Operated Dimmer Switch is a voice input and touch switch lighting control system designed for use by individuals with severe physical or upper extremity disablities or spinal cord injury. This switch takes the place of a standard wall switch and can be operated simultaneously in two modes--as a touch dimmer allowing the user to dim lights with a touch, and as a voice control dimmer. For example, saying "Lights ... Low" turns the lights on at a low intensity, and saying "Lights ... Off" turns the lights off. Continuous listening automatically adjusts for ambient noise levels. Voice control can be either speaker-independent, which allows the dimmer to respond to anyone's voice, or speaker-dependent, which allows the user to program any command or language. Installation requires only a screwdriver. POWER: Uses 120 volts alternating current (AC), 60 hertz (Hz), 500 watts. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 4.5 x 1.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches. WEIGHT: 4 ounces.
