(Verified 01/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Pneumatic Switch is a touch switch designed with a sensitive, small movement air cushion for individuals with little or no mobility or strength. This switch is soft to the touch and is comfortable enough to be used by the face or any body part with reliable small movements. The entire top surface is active except for the outer edge. The closer the touch is to the center, the the less force and travel required. At the center the force required is three ounces of pressure and the travel is 1/32 inch. It has an audible click feedback and can be mounted with screws or velcro. Suggested uses include communciation aids, computes, toys, ECU's, page turners, scanning remote control, or any low voltage single switch application where very small movements are to be used. DIMENSIONS: Diameter is 2.5 inches overall with 2 inches active surface. Height is 7/8 inch high. COLOR: black rubber with gray box.
