The M.A.C. (Multi-Adjustable Chair) is a tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME: The tubular steel frame collapses for transport. The frame is available in a choice of narrow (14 inches wide), standard (16 inches wide), or wide configurations (19 inches wide), and is offered in a choice of of 10 standard colors; one specialty color and custom colors are available at an extra cost. Push handles are standard. An expandable frame is optional. SEAT: The seat rail height is available in regular (19 inches), hemi (17 inches), or super-hemi (15 inches). Seating options from Gunnell and most seating from other manufacturers can be used with this chair. A range of seating, from planar seat and back bases to contoured seat and back bases, are available, as are a variety of positioning options TILT AND RECLINE MECHANISM: This chair features a quick-release sixty-degree tilt mechanism and a manual lock recline mechanism. An optional quick-release, low shear recline mechanism is optional. ARMRESTS: Heavy-duty, height- and laterally adjustable armrests with full-length pads are standard. Desk-length pads are available at no charge. Height-adjustable, swing-up armrests with full-length pads and plastic pads are available at an extra cost. BRAKES: Wheel locks are included. Wheel lock extensions are optional. CASTERS: 8 x 2 inch front casters with semi-pneumatic tires are standard. Options include 5.75 x 1.5 inch composite casters with solid tires and adjustable caster mounts. WHEELS: This chair features an adjustable wheel base with a three-inch range in one-inch increments. The standard wheels are 24 x 1 3/8 inch composite wheels with urethane tires and handrims. Options include 20-inch wheels, pneumatic tires, flat-free inserts for the pneumatic tires, and one-arm drive. FOOTRESTS: Removable, swing-away 70-degree footrests are standard; 60- or 90-degree footrests are optional. Elevating, swing-away, low-shear legrests with calf pads; a footbox-style footrest; footplate and footbox pads; and more are available. OPTIONS: Trays, tray pads, medical records bag, ventilator tray, and a battery tray. WARRANTY: Lifetime frame warranty.
