--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 7/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Plug Mounted Module, model 1493, is a control switch interface unit designed to control appliances up to 12.5 amps. The appliance to be controlled is plugged into the unit and the unit is plugged directly into a wall electrical socket. Radios, televisions, or lamps up to 500 watts may then be operated from a distance. The Wall Mounted Module, model 1494, replaces standard wall outlets; appliances and lamps up to 1800 watts plugged into the unit can then be operated remotely.

Notes: These units are intended for use with the Single-Switch Multi-Applance Unit (see separate entry). ** Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price listed.
