« Previous ProductThe Universal Adaptive Switch (UAS) is a multi input switch selector designed to combine features of many popular switches in one unit for individuals who depend on the use of single switches. It can adapt to an individual user's changing needs or accomodate the varied needs of multiple users in group setting. It is a low voltage DC switch with remote control capability and three modes: momentary mode for scanning controls and computer interfaces; latching mode for turning devices on and off; and time-delay mode. It is meant to replace multiple switches and provide many channel remote switch access at home, school and work. The UAS works alone with any ordinary adaptive switch to control battery operated toys, environmental controls, and computer access interfaces. It is also available with a built in transmitter option which gives it the ability to control up to nine remote receivers, each of which can operate in a momentary, latch, or time-delay mode. An optional force sensitive switch pad makes the UAS a fully electronic, force adjustable, touch switch control interface. POWER: Built in rechargeable Ni-Cad battery packs in switch and receiver units provide up to five hours of operation. 110 VAC power adapter/rechargers provide continuous operation. OPTIONS: 2.5 inch switch pad is $30 and a 5 inch switch pad is $40. Remote receiver is available for $150.
