(Verified 08/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Artic Crystal is a speech synthesis board that works with the Artic Vision or Business Vision screen reading software to pronounce natural sounding synthesized speech at speeds of up to 500 words per minute. The board is available in two models: Crystal/A includes a version of the Artic Vision screen reading program ($1995). Crystal/B includes a version of Artic Business Vision, a screen reading program designed to work with spreadsheets, plus a talking calculator ($2095). Braille documentation is available for $30. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM PC computers.
