Picture of AMIGO CLASSROOM FM SYSTEM The Amigo Classroom FM System is an FM amplication system designed to make classroom activities accessible to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The system consists of an educational transmitter and a multi-channel receiver. Available teacher transmitters include the Amigo T20, which is body-worn and also serves as a programming and fitting unit through a special menu; the Amigo T21, which offers the same functions as the T20 with the addition of a built-in team teaching function; the Oticon Amigo T10, a multi-purpose transmitter that can be used inside and outside the classroom; or the Oticon Amigo T5, a body-worn transmitter that is durable and flexible. Available receivers include the R1, a multi-channel receiver that can be used with most behind-the-ear and cochlear implant hearing aids from any manufacturer via its universal Euro connector, or the R2 receiver, which offers all the functionalities of the R1, plus a manual Channel Seek functionality.
