Picture of WIDGIT LITERACY SYMBOLS WITH BOARDMAKER Widgit Literacy Symbols with Boardmaker is a symbolic language picture library designed for use by individuals with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities. This collection includes the Widgit Literacy Symbols (WLS) set, consisting of over 8,000 symbols, covering a vocabulary of over 24,000 words, as a Boardmaker Addendum. Widgit Literacy Symbols have been developed to support literacy and to help make information accessible to those struggling with traditional orthography. The symbols feature simple line drawings, and cover a range of terms common in elementary and secondary education. The full library of symbols is included in both color and black-and-white. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh or Windows-based computer systems.
