The computerized storybook unfolds under the student's direction as they point ad click their way through an open-ended interactive adventure. Different outcomes depend on choices made by the student. It is designed to develop problem solving skills and critical thinking skills as students interact with compelling characters and challenges. This program is available on CD-ROM or diskette, comes with a 48 page activity book and is designed to be TouchWindow accessible (see separate entry). COMPATIBILITY: IBM and compatibles, and Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: LC III or higher; 2 MB free RAM; 256 color monitor; CD-ROM version also requires CD-ROM drive. IBM: 12 MHz 286 or higher; 640K RAM; VGA card; 3.5 disk drive; no sound card is required for digitized speech; sound is supported on PC internal speaker, Sound Blaster (see separate entry), Pro Audio Spectrum, Microsoft Sound Card, Disney Sound Source, Covox Speech Thing and Sound Master. CD-ROM version also requires a CD-ROM drive.
