Personal Life Skills is an independent living skills tutorial program designed for use by individuals with cognitive, learning, or vision disabilities. This series of 22 duplicatable CD-ROMs, 22 companion books, and 22 online lessons can be used by high school students and adults. Each interactive program is written on a middle school level and branches to a lower reading level when remediation is needed. This series is designed for students to use independently or in groups and is designed to promote the reading comprehension and the critical thinking skills necessary for students to transition from school to the workplace and community living. The series offers four units: Personal Finance, Contemporary Living, Personal consumerism, and Employability. The books are available in digital format (Word and/or PDF) at no additional cost, after purchase. This allows the print to be enlarged and/or the materials to be put into alternate formats. All of the interactive CD-ROMs and online lessons have audio and print, along with companion books. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Adobe Flash Player.
