Handling Your Money is a money management training system designed for use by individuals with cognitive, learning, or vision disabilities. This series of fourteen duplicatable books is written at a third to sixth grade reading level and can be used by high school students and adults independently or in groups. These books cover basic information that students need to know to make them intelligent personal money managers. Each book teaches a specific set of skills and starts with a pretest. Available as a set, titles include: Automated Teller Machine Card (ATM); Bank Statement; Checking Account Balance; Credit Card; Financial Planning; How Do You Manage Your Money?; How to Write Checks; Installment Loans; Insurance, Opening a Checking Account, Opening a Savings Account; Personal Data; and What Are You Worth? A Teacher’s Guide and Lesson Plans are provided at no extra cost. All material is available, after purchase, in digital format (Word and/or PDF). This allows the print to be enlarged and/or the materials put into alternate formats.
