(Verified 8/1999) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Physical Activities Kit is a personal skills tutorial and educational aid for parents and teachers of children with mental, physical, or sensory disabilities to teach them about their body movements and other physical activities. The kit was designed to cover activities that may improve the child's coordination, balance, and control. The kit contains 25 booklets (5 per title), 5 English or Spanish audio cassettes (1 per title) for parents who may have difficulty reading and for reinforcement of the written materials, a trainer's guide that explains the kit to parents and teachers, and a self-contained carrying package. TITLES: Moving from One Place to Another; Body and Eyes: Working Together; Eyes-Hands-Fingers: All Working Together; Using Your Arms and Legs; Moving the Whole Body.
