This board game teaches individuals the importance of taking personal responsibility for acting in a safe manner in the home and in the community. It also reinforces the basic skills necessary to function safely. Categories include home safety, health safety, community safety, and recreation safety. Specific skills include fires, emergency phone numbers, using electric appliances, medications, poisons, what to do if lost, crossing the street, stranger danger, and more. The program includes the game board and playing pieces, draw cards, a teacher's guide with answers to questions on the board or draw cards and additional topics for discussion, six Individual Progress Reports, and instructions. OPTIONS: Set of 20 blank Draw cards ($6.50) and 10 Individual Progress Reports ($12.50).
