Fuzzbuzz Level 1: Word Learning is a vocabulary tutorial program designed specifically for use by children with learning disabilities. Bouncing fuzzbuzzes and creeping slinx stimulate children and help them develop sight vocabulary and reading skills. The 16 activities include word to picture matching, word sequencing, and timed word recognition. The help fuzzbuzz gives tips and animated sequences reward completion of each activity. The program can be customized for up to 20 students and can be used independently or by groups. COMPATIBILITY: Versions are available for use on IBM and compatible or Mactintosh computers with or without a network. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The IBM version requires a 486DX 66 megaHertz processor, 8 megabytes (MB) RAM, Windows 3.1 or higher, 16-bit sound card, CD-ROM drive, and a monitor with 256 colors. The Macintosh version requires a Macintosh 68040 processor, Operating System 7.0 or higher, 8 MB RAM, a CD-ROM drive, a 640 x 480 256-color monitor.
