« Previous Product Next Product »--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/94) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Chatterbox Dictionary is a language tutorial program that uses voice input and voice output to develop vocabulary skills. Vocabulary categories include: community signs, body parts, food, clothing, etc. During training, each word is presented as an illustration, in printed form and is spoken by the speech synthesizer. The student repeats the word to train the voice recognition component in the way that the student says it. After training, each vocabulary item is displayed again. If the student does not identify it correctly, the correct name is spoken by the speech synthesizer. The student gets two more opportunities to identify the vocabulary item. The program comes with the software and a Sony headset/microphone. COMPATIBILITY: The Chatterbox Dictionary will not work with an Apple IIc. The Echo speech synthesizer and Introvoice input module are not included. For use on Apple II+, Apple IIe, and Apple IIGS computers.
