(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Math Blaster Plus! and Math Blaster 1: In Search of Spot are math tutorial programs designed to enhance math skill for students with a developmental or physical disability. The programs teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals and percents. Math Blaster 1: In Search of Spot for IBM and compatibles offers over 50,000 different math problems and Math Blaster Plus!, the Apple II version, offers over 750 problems that can be used at six different ability levels. You can also add your own math problems, print out tests and automatically track student performance. These programs can be used with the TouchWindow (see separate entry) to make them touch-active for students with physical disabilities. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh, Apple, and IBM. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Macintosh - Macintosh LC II or higher; 13 inch monitor; 4 MB RAM; System 7.0 or higher; Super VGA 256 color only; CD-ROM requires CD-ROM drive. For Apple - Apple IIe (enhanced), IIC, IIGS; 128K; 5.25 inch disk drive; color monitor. Optional: TouchWindow. For DOS - IBM and compatibles DOS 3.3 or higher; 640K; VGA; hard disk; sound card required for digitized speech; 3.5 inch disk drive. Optional: TouchWindow. For Windows - Windows 3.1 or higher; 25 MHz 386 or better; 4 MB RAM; 256 color Super VGA or 16 color VGA; Windows compatible sound card; hard disk; mouse; CD-ROM requires CD-ROM drive. Optional: TouchWindow.
