Sentence Builder is a language tutorial program and a writing skills training program designed for use by parents and teachers working with children with communication, learning or speech disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use an Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to help children learn how to build grammatically correct sentences with an emphasis on the connector words that make up over 80% of the English language. Sentence Builder comes with 100 distinct pictures to build sentences around, 60 encouragement animations and audio clips, three different levels of play, optional correct sentence audio reinforcement, and statistics to track a child’s progress.
