Picture of SONIDOS Y LETRAS (SOUNDS AND LETTERS) Sonidos y Letras (Sounds and Letters) is an early reading tutorial program designed to promote early Spanish reading skills for children with learning disabilities. This software includes 25 activities; an animated song for the five vowels; careful instruction in phonemic awareness; sentence writing activities where words come alive; and fun and interactive stories. It also features recorded speech, entirely in Spanish. Sonidos y Letras was developed using Classroom Suite software provided by Cambium Learning. COMPATIBILITY: IBM PC and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP (32 bit version only), or Vista; Pentium II 300 megahertz (MHz) processor with 128 megabytes (MB) RAM (Windows 2000 and XP) or 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (Vista); 350 MB of hard disk space; and a high resolution (1024 x 768) monitor with 16 bit colors.
