(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Son of Seek and Find is a pre-reading tutorial program and perceptual training program and training system for matching/sorting/assembly designed to teach matching, figure ground discrimination, and auditory discrimination to 1 to 12 players ages 3 to 5 years. Utilizing three scenes (farm, house, and classroom), the program offers three levels of play. Level I has the child find an item to match in the scene; Level II asks the child to find the requested object without a visual prompt; Level III requires the child to locate an object based on its sound. Selections are made using a PowerPad (see separate entry), IntelliKeys, or TouchWindow (see separate entry) overlay. The complete set includes the program disk and an overlay. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIGS or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple IIGS computers require a color monitor and an Echo Speech Synthesizer; Macintosh computers require a color monitor. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the date of purchase.
