« Previous Product Next Product »Sentence Key and Picture Sentence Key are language tutorial programs and reading tutorial programs designed to teach language structure for children with autism and other disorders. The main objective of the programs is to teach a student how to make a phrase saying "who is doing what". As pictures are selected to make the phrase, the computer speaks in a clear digitized speech. When the sentence is completed, the entire sentence is spoken and an animated picture appears depicting the sentence. Both programs are HyperCard stacks; Picture Sentence Key uses symbolic pictures and text; Sentence Key works the same way except that it uses text instead of pictures. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Macintosh Plus or greater computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: A hard disk and any version of HyperCard.
Notes: Developed by Ann K. Morgan. ** A 20-minute "Words to Choose" video is included with the Picture Sentence Key program. This video shows the year-long progress of a group of New York children with autism as they begin to speak in sentences by learning the sequence "Who-is-doing-What".
