Reading Comprehension for Adolescents is a reading tutorial program designed to increase literal and inferential comprehension skills. Ten short stories on topics of interest to adolescent students are used. The literal lesson requires comprehension of information provided in the story. The inferential lesson requires the student to make inferences about the information provided in the story. The program also teaches strategies for reading comprehension. The story may also be hidden after it is read so that the student must rely on comprehension and memory to answer questions. Progress is recorded on disk, and reports may be printed at any time. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIc, Apple IIe, Apple IIGS, and IBM PC computers.
