The Under Shelf Jar Opener, model G812, is a jar lid opener designed to be installed under a shelf, counter or cabinet to assist individuals with the use of only one hand. The unit will open any screw lid from 3/8 inch to 3 3/8 inches without adjustment. To operate, the jar lid is slipped into the opener until it is securely wedge; then the jar can be turned with one hand. The unit is made of plastic with a hardened steel knurled gripper. The unit will not remove pry off caps.
