The Lids Off Delux Jar Opener, model JW250 is a powered jar opener designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or grasping disabilities, arthritis, or the use of only one hand. To open a jar, the jar is placed on the turntable of the unit and the upper body of the unit is lowered to fit securely on the lid. Pressing the handle down causes the turntable to rotate, loosening the jar lid. The unit handles jars up to 8 inches high and up to 4.5 inches in diameter.
