Cooking Made Easy is a cookbook designed for use by individuals with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, or brain injury. This cookbook contains 88 recipes for breakfast, soups, salads, breads, appetizers, beverages, main dishes, vegetables, and dessert. Recipes do not assume any cooking knowledge and are broken down into detailed, easy-to-understand steps. Each recipe is coded from 1 to 5 according to level of difficulty. Recipes begin with an ingredient list, designed for use as a shopping list. Utensil lists are provided for kitchen preparation before cooking. Recipes are written in large print for ease of reading, and combined measurements (such as 1-1/2) are separated into two different measurements, for ease of understanding. Each recipe begins with "Wash Hands" and ends with "It is done." Dollar sign codes on each recipe signify cost of ingredients.
