------- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Positioning seat to hold a child's legs in a flexed position, bring the shoulders into protraction and allow the hands to come together midline. Chair made from a large cardboard or PVC tube cut into the shape of a chair with edges padded with foam tubing, and a hole cut out of the area behind the head. The seat is a velcro-attached cotton sling, adjustable in depth, suspended in the tube. Includes drawings. SKILLS REQUIRED: Plastics. Sewing. Assembly.
