(Verified 2/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Amigo PowerShopper is a scooter and shopping cart designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, neurological, or physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. It is intended for sale to commercial businesses for use in retail shopping environments. The scooter has a large, shopping-cart-size heavy-duty plastic basket mounted in front. FRAME (HxLxW): 28 x 66 x 24 inches. The turning radius is 60 inches. The coated steel platform and frame are metallic cinnamon red. CONTROLS: Microprocessor controller, protected throttle controls, and on/off switch are standard. An optional key lock is standard. RWD: Sealed transaxle rear-wheel drive system. SEAT: 18-inch heavy-duty steel framed padded seat. UPHOLSTERY: Seat has tear-resistant industrial grade cover. BRAKES: Automatic braking unit with dynamic and regenerative braking. OPTIONS: A customizable safety flag and seat-back logo are optional. POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries with battery overcharge protection, onboard battery charger with retractible cord, and LED (light emitting diode) battery indicator. A SmartCharge recharging station is optional. SPEED: Forward speed, 2.3 miles per hour (mph); reverse speed, 1.4 mph. Range of 40 miles. CAPACITY: 750 pounds (500 pounds for operator, 250 pounds for basket). WEIGHT: 185 pounds with batteries. WARRANTY: Lifetime warranty on platform and seat post; 2 year warranty on motor component, controller, battery charger, and transaxle; 1 year warranty on seat; and 6 month warranty on batteries and labor.
