The MFP Ulna Fracture Brace is a fracture orthosis made of moisture resistant perforated plastic. This brace maintains fracture alignment, permits joint mobility, and permits early return to normal functional activities. The unit consists of dorsal and volar shells that fit on forearm from the elbow to the wrist and are secured with two Velcro straps that allow adjustable compression pressure. This brace provides for unobstructed radiographic readings and can be removed by patient for hygiene or it can be made nonremovable. Available for the right or left arm, the brace is designed to be worn with a presewn cotton stockinette liner (two included) and it has flared edges at the distal end for additional comfort. Patient instructions are included. SIZES: Small, medium, or large. DIMENSIONS: The small brace is 8 to 10 inches in circumference and 7 inches long; the medium is 10 to 12 inches in circumference and 8 inches long; the large brace is 12 to 14 inches in circumference and 9 inches long.
