(Verified 03/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Waterbed For Your Wrist is a gel filled wrist support designed to provide comfort for individuals who are prone to Repetitive Motion Disorders such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It supports the wrists at a height that allows use of the device while typing while others just provide a resting platform during inactivity. Because the pad is made of gel, it conforms to the contour of the wrists and palms and contact is always maintained. The gel also acts as a shock absorber so it reduces vibration which is an important risk factor for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The gel feature also allows it to be refrigerated and used for cold therapy for the wrists. The wrist support has a removable, machine washable fabric cover and can be velcro mounted on pull out type keyboard trays. OPTIONS: Interchangeable fabric covers allows user to custom color to match work station. Silk Screening available.
