--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Badelift Bath Tub Lift is a shower or bathtub seat designed to provide accessible, safe, and hygienic bathing for persons with disabilities or seniors. The chair features a triaxle folding system to provide greater stability and minimal sideways movement. A back pressure safety valve protects against plumbing problems. The bath seat fits in most bathtubs and can be installed in minutes. Also included with the seat is a lift controller with push button or joystick-style vertical lever design. This hand held unit is connected with cables. A carrying bag is also included to transport the chair to different locations or for travel. OPERATION: The hand-held lift controller has a suction cup mount for placement on the side of the tub. The user transfers to the seat and initiates the chair's descent into the bathtub with the controller. The height of the bath stool can be adjusted for use in deep tubs.
