(Verified 06/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Blue Wave Shower Chair is a child bath seat designed for use with children with physical disabilities. This chair supports the child in a sitting or reclining position at a height convenient for showering with no obstructions for the caregiver. The unit consists of a detachable, adjustable seat and a rolling stand with locking casters. The seat features vinyl mesh upholstery, a head support, and Velcro positioning straps. The seat and back can be adjusted using the finger triggers while the chair is occupied. The same stand fits all chair sizes, enabling the unit to grow with the child. SIZES: Small (no. E516) for children up to 36 inches tall, medium (no. E526) for children between 32 and 50 inches tall, and large (no. E536) for children between 46 and 68 inches tall. DIMENSIONS: The stand is 27 inches wide x 33 inches long. The small seat is 13 inches deep x 14.5 inches wide x 28 inches high. The back height is 18 inches. The medium seat is 13 x 14.5 x 28 inches with a back height of 25 inches. The large seat is 16.5 x 14.5 x 28 inches with a back height of 32 inches. CAPACITY: Model E516, 60 pounds; model E526, 120 pounds; model E536, 160 pounds. COLOR: A white stand with a blue seat.
