--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2000) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Rifton 38-inch Shower Chair, model GE57, is a caster chair for children approximately 36 to 50 inches tall. The chair has a welded aluminum frame, plastic tubing, and a sanitary vinyl-coated polyester mesh sling seat. All hardware is stainless steel. The back and seat sections adjust from vertical to horizontal. Chest and leg straps, and head pads are included with vertical adjustability. DIMENSIONS: Mobile frame measures 39 by 23 by 19 inches. Seat is 42 inches long when flat. Overall seat width is 23 inches; overall height is 46.5 inches. Seat depth is 13 inches, and back height is 26 inches. CAPACITY: Maximum working load is 100 pounds. WEIGHT: 19 pounds.

Notes: Manufacturer states this chair is not designed for use in bathtubs, nor is it intended for users with severe spasticity. ** Rifton also makes 30, 47, and 56 inch shower chairs. See separate entries.
