The sound pick up unit plugs into electrical outlet near baby, and the light signaler, which accepts up to a 300 watt bulb, plugs into remote wall outlet. When the baby cries, the light flashes to signal the parent. A red flashing light indicates the unit is working. POWER: Uses standard 110- volt alternating current (AC). OPTIONS: Additional receivers are available for $19.95.
