(Verified 08/2005)RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The ADA Compliance Kit combines all the products required for hotels or hospitals to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. ADA accessibility guidlines require that rooms be equipped with assistive systems, including text telephones (TTY/TTD), a notification system, a telephone amplifier, a television closed-caption decoder, and a visual smoke detector. This portable all-in-one kit is lightweight and compact, easy to store and set up, and satisfies ADA requirements. A variety of sets are available to mee guest needs.All kits include a storage/carrying case. Kit 1 includes an in-room TTY, an AlertMaster Notification System, and an in-line telephone amplifier. Kit 2 includes the in-room TTY, the AlertMaster, and an amplification handset. Kit 3 includes the elements Kit 1 plus a model VR-100 TV Decoder. Kit 4 combines the elements of Kit 2 with the TV Decoder. Kit 5 includes the elements of Kit 3 plus a Visual Smoke Detector. Kit 6 includes the elements of Kit 4 and a Visual Smoke Detector. Kit 7 combines the elements of Kit 1 with a model VR-4000 TV Decoder. Kit 8 combines the elements of Kit 2 with a model VR-4000 TV Decoder. Kit 9 features all of the elements of Kit 7 plus a Visual Smoke Detector. Kit 10 features all of the elements of Kit 8 plus a Visual Smoke Detector. Kit 11 includes the elements of Kit 1 plus a Visual Smoke Detector. Kit 12 includes the elements of Kit 2 plus a Visual Smoke Detector.
