The Children's Casual Pants with Opening Options, model C122, are children's pants designed for wear by children with neurological or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. Standard features include a wider cut and higher rise in the back, a wide hem to accommodate growth, an elasticized waistband with adjustable cord, and reinforced wrist loops for lifting and dressing by caregivers. These pants are made from a cotton/polyester blend, and are available with a Velcro fly, a drop front, a full outside leg opening, or an inside (crotch) opening. Pants with the full outside leg openings can lie flat on a bed or lie open on a chair, allowing caregivers to dress and undress the child with less lifting. Drop front pants have a waist embrace that allows the waist to remain secured while the front panel opens wide for use with urinals. The Velcro fly has a finger loop at the opening to assist in opening. Pants with the crotch opening also have a Velcro fly for access to personal needs, tubes, bags, or braces. SIZES: Small (23 to 24 inch waist/ children's sizes 6X to 8), medium (25 to 26 inch waist/children's sizes 9 to 10), large (27 to 28 inch waist/children's sizes 12 to 14), extra- large (29 to 30 inch waist/children's sizes 16 to 18).
